We counted the building clusters within one square mile of the
Site, and made the assumption that each building cluster has one septic system. Using this method,
we determined that there ate over one hundred septic systems per square mile in the immediate
vicinity of the subject property. There is a trailer park to the east of the subject property. The Site is
approximately one mile east of the city of Tracy. To the south, however is open farmland.
3.5 Septic Permit History in the Vicinity
The followingseptic stem perm its were found for the vicinity o£the Site during file review
p y 1' ty g at
EHD on March 8, 2006:
Table 1
Vicinity Septic System Permit Summary.
Address,Date Tank Lines,Length,Pits Comments
Capacity
24707 Bird Road,7-20-98 1200 gal Two 40 foot leach lines New installation l
Not Three 80 foot lines 48 inch pits /r
25144 Bird Road,6-5-81 New installation
Reported and new"D"box
25562 South Bird Road,6-6-77 1200 gal Three 70 foot leach lines New installation
*The septic systems in the area appear to utilize leach lines.
3.6 Septic Repair Permit History in the Vicinity
The following septic system repair permits were found for the vicinity of the Site during file review
at EHD on March 8, 2006:
3
1''I
