# put up with obscenities in these chambers.
Sousa: I did not mean to provoke any obscenity in my
i
question, but is there a certain depletion? What is the depth of
depletion now?
Dillon: The shallow aquifer that most of these private wells,
and so forth are on is definitely going down. We were down, 1
believe the test went 400 or 500 feet deep. That ' s the area we're
going to draw from, which is much deeper than any of the small
private wells, and again, we did, we had a report, a study done,
actually drilled the well, pumped it, and are actually utilizing an
existing deep well out there, an ag well, and cranked it up, did
the test, and the results were that it would not have a
significant, or any, I think the report stated any, on the shallow
aquifers and the private wells in the area, so this is not
competing for water that the little wells are using today. It ' s
much deeper. O.K. , the next issue that I 'd like to discuss is
sewer. This will be very brief from here out. - There was concern
with nitrate loading and so forth of the area because we have 37
lots on septic, and again, we did a nitrate loading study, I should
say Kleinf elder dial. Again, copies were provided to staff, and the
nitrate loading study indicated that it would be absolutely no
adverse impact from these 37 lots. In fact, that nitrate loading
study is being used by, as a resource by staff and other members to
make that point that this type of development does not have an
adverse effect on the nitrate loading in that area., and again,
those copies are with staff and have been for over a year.
