SECTION I ' <br /> INTRODUCTION +� <br /> This document has been prepared pursuant to the California J <br /> Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines (Section 15132) . CEQA <br /> guidelines require that San Joaquin County, after completion of a <br /> Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) , consult with and obtain <br /> comments from public agencies having legal jurisdiction <br /> with respect to a proposed project, and to provide the applicant <br /> and general public with an opportunity to comment on the Draft <br /> EIR. The County is also required to respond to significant <br /> environmental points raised in the review and consultation _ <br /> process. <br /> This Final SEIR has been prepared to respond to comments and <br /> recommendations received from public agencies and the general <br /> public on the Draft Supplemental EIR for the Morada Meadows <br /> Project circulated for review in October-November 1988. <br /> The following section of the Final SEIR (Section II) <br /> provides a list of persons, organizations and public agencies <br /> commenting on the Draft SEIR. Section III provides a copy of all <br /> written comments and recommendations received on the Draft SEIR <br /> and responses to significant environmental points raised in the <br /> written comments. <br /> Section IV contains a full copy of the Draft SEIR with r <br /> revisions, where necessary. <br /> A� <br /> 2 <br />
