San Joaquin County
Community Development Dept.
1810 East Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
RE: Application #PA-0700293(UP) APN/205-070-20
17495 S. Carrolton Road
Escalon. CA
This land is zoned Agricultural, Careen Belted, and there is a limited growth
policy in Escalon. There are no commercial buildings in this area. In fact
the zoning for this area is.one residence only on twenty acres. Are we now
going to open the door for developers to come in and build on agricultural
property?
The Church owns from the corner of 120, up Carrolton to this property.
How much more ag land is going to be surrendered to developers?
How many residencies are going to be put on this property? How can this
be allowed for this property, then all other properties zoned the same be held
to the one residence per property rule.
What about fire and emergency vehicles only having one road to enter and
exit from? The current church is.on a corner with access from two roads,
how can the safety of people be guaranteed without this?`Tanker Fire
Trucks need to be able to get in one road and out another. These need to be
county sanctioned roads, with the ability to hold the.weight of these trucks.
Carrolton is used frequently by semi trucks, traveling very fast. Also dairy
trucks traveling equally fast. How is this going to impact the traffic on that
road, and also on Hwy 120.
4
Why were all the residents along Carrolton not informed about this project?
This is not a project that w;in any ay support!
James & Maureen Colton
19107 E.
