Report.Groundwater-quality Monitoring—October 27,2004, 7500 West Eleventh Street, Tracy,CA. Page 18
t 6.0 CONCLUSIONS
Based on the data obtained from the groundwater-quality monitoring round conducted at
the 7500 West Eleventh Street site on October 27 and 28, 2004 and its integration with
the data gathered cumulatively over the six-year period since December 1998 when
investigations were initiated at this site, SJC concludes the following.
r
1. The plumes of water affected by releases of fuel hydrocarbons that were released
at the former fuelingstation at 7500 West Eleventh Street are stable and the
northerly, down-gradient limit of the primary plume is receding southward.
2. No floating product (LNAPL) is currently present on the groundwater within the
plumes.
3. Concentrations of components of fuel hydrocarbons within the plumes of affected
groundwater are oscillating around a downward trend.
4. The extensive program of subsurface investigation and groundwater monitoring
that has been completed at the subject site has produced the data necessary to
define accurately the lateral and vertical extent of zones of the 'subsurface that
were affected by the releases of fuel hydrocarbons.
I i
<< 5. Work to bring the site to regulatory "closure" based on an analysis of the active a
processes of natural attenuation of analytes of concern within the plumes of
affected groundwater should be initiated.
E
1
sic
