Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Destroy the abandoned well(s) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department as required by San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.5(e). <br /> B. The agricultural well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(e)) for the agricultural <br /> discharge pipes to utilize an air gap for back-flow prevention to maintain an air gap equal to the <br /> size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The discharge pipe shall also have two <br /> '/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the pipe and opposite each other or a back- <br /> flow device approved by San Joaquin County must be installed. <br /> C. Any geotechnical drilling shall be conducted under permit and inspection by The Environmental <br /> Health Department (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3 and 9-1115.6). <br />
