The continued use of the golf course, Lot E, as open space <br /> shall be protected by designating and noting on the final <br /> map that no additional residential development shall occur. <br /> This is to be in substantial compliance with Hillside <br /> Greens Addendum to Application dated March 1, 1985, Item <br /> 5 (c) . <br /> c. Approval of this subdivision, S--85-2, is predicated on the <br /> approval of General Plan Text Amendment GP-85-8 and Planned <br /> District PD-85-1. In the . absence of approval of those <br /> applications by the Board of Supervisors , approval of <br /> S-85-2 shall be considered rescinded. <br /> d. Noise: <br /> a <br /> (1 ) Interior: <br /> All residential units will be designed and constructed <br /> to meet a noise level of 45 db's. The amount and type <br /> of construction techniques may vary depending on the <br /> unit location in relation to specific noise contours. <br /> (2 ) Exterior: <br /> All residential units will have at least one private <br /> outdoor space with a LDN level of 65 dB or less. This <br /> ' will be accomplished by: <br /> J (a) Shielding the outdoor space by means of building <br /> orientation and/or <br /> (b) Shielding the outdoor space with a noise wall. <br /> (3 ) Other: <br /> (a ) Tree screening at selected locations will be pro- <br /> vided adjacent to the freeway to provide a <br /> "psychological feeling of isolation" by separating <br /> the noise source from the project. <br /> (b) The new water hazard will contain a water feature <br /> to also provide a diversionary sound to the freeway <br /> noise. <br /> e.
