File No. 20-3551-01 k'9 KLE1NFELDER
January 27, 1992
L _
M C-5.
"0 her 'nform
ation as required by the San Joaquin Local Health
Districto determine the cumulative effect of the existing and the
propose development on groundwater contamination; "
Our scope of services did not include a detailed evaluation
of the potential for the septic systems to affect the
quality of groundwater. However, the project involves only
a maximum of sixteen systems on an approximate 160-acne
property. Therefore, with groundwater at least 140 to 145
feet deep, the likelihood of a significant change in the
nitrate level of the groundwater beneath the site is very
remote. If additional more concentrated development is
planned in the area, we suggest that consideration be given
to completing a nitrate loading study.
This completes our scope of work at this time. Based on the above
information, it is rSeoseptic
r pnion that the subdivision is suitable for
septic system use. systems should be located and future
wells should be constructed following County requirements
Continuous monitoring of the septic systems should be maintains
throughout the duration of their use. Once this report is reviewed
by Environmental Health Services, we would be pleased to furnish a
proposal for providing whatever additional information they may
require for their evaluation.
We trust this report presents the information required at this
time. If you have any questions regarding this report and the
attached information, please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
RLEINFELDER, INC.
Steven R.
