Dear Mr. Martin: I represent Mr. John Teresi a property owner adjacent to the above proposed--subdivision. ..This Letter. is. in response to your Application - Refer al on the above subject property. ENVIRONMENTAL: ISSUES : . 1 . Additional studies. need, to be made in regards to Little Bear Creek and the establishment of the .100 year flood level . The potential for flooding to occur along the banks of Little Bear Creek needs to be determined in order to properly design the ' subdivision, i .e. the entry to Lot 1 crosses the creek. The Clements area has mot been mapped by the Corps of Engineers, thus there is no true data from which to determine whether or not flooding occurs . 2 . The Litt'le, Bear Creek area raises questions regarding the possibility of archeological finds , to include the possibility of Native American artifacts or human remains . Therefore, this application should be circulated to the Native American Heritage ,Commission and a comprehensive stud should be g ,, � P Y made to ascertain whether or not there are any archeological finds in the proposed subdivision. IM _ 3 . Due to -the numerous vernal pools in the proposed subdivision, a biotics study should be performed to determine whether or not there- is an impact on the vernal pools and associated plant fife . 4 . The. present, configuration of the' subdivision raises the issue of potential hazards to residents of lots 1 , 7 , 6, 5, and 8 due to limited accessibility for emergency vehicles . 11 I :j I!
