WATKINSON ROAD <br /> (PREVIOUSLY 14345 E. COLLIER ROAD) <br /> ACAMPO, CALIFORNIA <br /> Dear Mr. Vorhees: <br /> Kleinfelder is pleased to present the results of our soil suitability study for the subject <br /> parcels. The existing Assessor's Parcel Numbers of the parcels are 021-030-48, 021- <br /> 030-50, and 021-030-51. A parcel map is presented on Plate 1 and in Appendix A. <br /> The parcel numbers and addresses for these properties are new. They were <br /> previously part of address 14345 E. Collier Road. The purpose of our study was to <br /> determine the suitability of the proposed properties for septic tank usage. The studies <br /> were performed in general accordance with the requirements of Section 9-10100© of <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance. <br /> Reference is made to Addendum #1 for this project dated June 14, 2005, which <br /> discussed the failed percolation tests on lots 1, 8, and 9. Subsequently, Chesney <br /> Consulting was retained to perform additional percolation tests on these three parcels <br /> or, as addendum #1 describes, design an engineering system. Fortunately, passing <br /> percolation tests were obtained. The original copy of the Chesney Consulting report is <br /> attached in Appendix A. Following discussions with the SJCEHD, it was decided to <br /> also include background information regarding the proposed development, past and <br /> present use of the site, existing septic tank performance and permitting, and <br /> groundwater conditions in the project area, all of which were previously discussed in <br /> our original soil suitability study dated June 10, 2005. Discussions regarding <br /> investigative procedures and site conditions are presented in the Chesney Consulting <br /> report in the Appendix A.
