Collier Rd., Acampo, CA <br /> Original report prepared by Earnest Smith, P.E. <br /> Report dated November 10, 2005 <br /> Ms. Lantz and Mr. Lenzi: <br /> To address the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department, <br /> Live Oak GeoEnviron mental, Inc. (Live Oak) has prepared an update to the above report written <br /> by Earnest Smith in 2005. The subject Site is the property located at 3222 East Collier Road, <br /> Acampo, California (Plates 1 and 2). The report by Mr. Smith addressed the then-four parcel <br /> subdivision planned, approximately correspondirg.i•oels 1, 2, 3, and 8 of the current <br /> subdivision. Percolation test <br /> pro es conformed to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department policy. <br /> Soil Borings <br /> On April 5 and 6, 2017, Live Oak excavated shallow soil borings on Parcels 4, 5, and 6, and <br /> shallow and deep borings on Parcel 7 of the Site for the purpose of conducting percolation <br /> tests. The borings were four inches in diameter, 3.25, 3.26, 3.45, and 3.48 feet deep, and were <br /> excavated by hand auger. The locations of the borings are indicated on Plate 4. <br /> Soil Logs <br /> The soils in the borings were observed to be composed of clay, silt, and sand, with sandier <br /> soils encountered at deeper levels. A significant hardpan was encountered at approximately <br /> four feet below ground surface on Parcel 7.
