A Recorded Deed is- allowedI but if points or lines are <br /> set, a Record of Survey is required. (New legal <br /> description shall be submitted to the Surveyor's Office <br /> for review) . (Subdivision Map Act Section 66412) <br /> b. New description must reflect correct distance with <br /> qualifiers to avoid overlap or gap. <br /> 2 . DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DIVISION: <br /> a. A "Notice of Lot Line Adjustment" shall be recorded prior <br /> to conveyance of property through deeds by the owner. <br /> Legal descriptions of the lands to be exchanged shall be <br /> submitted to the Surveyor' s Division for review and <br /> forwarding to the Community Development Department. The <br /> descriptions shall be stamped and signed by a Licensed <br /> Land Surveyor or a Registered Civil Engineer licensed to <br /> practice land surveying. (Civil Engineers registered <br /> after January 1, 1982, are not licensed to practice land <br /> surveying. ) <br />
