SU-91-11. <br /> The District has the following comments and <br /> recommendations: <br /> 1. San Joaquin County's air quality relative to National <br /> and State Ambient Air Quality Standards has been <br /> designated as a non-attainment area by the California Air <br /> Resources Board as follows: <br /> PM--10 - Non-attainment <br /> CO - Non--attainment (for Stockton Metropolitan <br /> Statistical Area only) <br /> Ozone - Non-attainment (possible SIP call area) <br /> The California Clean Air Act, AB 2595, requires counties <br /> which are designated non-attainment to achieve a 5% annual <br /> reduction in emissions until the standards are met. <br /> 2. The applicant should be aware of the PM-10 Rule and <br /> the Indirect Source Review Rule, both of which are <br /> currently proposed by the District for adoption in the <br /> near future. Both of these rules may affect the <br /> applicant' s project. A copy of these rules is available <br /> upon written request to the District. . <br /> 3 . Emissions generated during the construction process <br /> are of some concern to the District. The attached dust <br /> control practices shall be implemented if and when <br /> construction takes place. <br />
