CALIFORNIA <br /> APPROVAL NUMBER: LA=00-52 <br /> f I - <br /> f OUR JOB NUMBER: LGOO-339 <br /> f _ <br /> L INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was contracted by Mr. George Rose to conduct a Soil Suitabibty/Nitrate <br /> Loading Study for the 40+- acre parcel located at 30821 E. Edwards Avenue near Oakdale, <br /> California(Plate 1).''This study was required by San Joaquin,County Environmental Health <br /> Division for the proposed lot fine adjustment. The assessors parcel number for the subject parcel <br /> is(APN) 207-250-055. The San Joaquin County approval number for'the project is LA-00-52. <br /> i <br /> The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study was conducted to determine if the proposed <br /> parcels are suitable for the use of a septic system and to estimate the potential impact to ground <br /> water. The study was performed according to the requirements of Section 94105.2(d) of the <br /> Sari Joaquin County Development. Major elements of the field work included one exploratory <br /> soil boring per parcel and one in-situ percolation test as required by San Joaquin County Public <br /> F Health Services in a letter dated August 23, 2000, Requirement A. An examination of the <br /> published soil information, geologic maps, and available ground water information, exploratory <br /> borings,percolation rates, water quality test, septic permit records, wellrecords, and nitrate <br /> f loading analysis,was used to complete the investigation. <br /> f <br /> { <br /> ` IL' PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> 1 - • <br /> The proposed project site is located along a portion north"of East Edwards Avenue and a <br /> portion west of Cometa Road near Valley House, California(Plate 1).' The project will involve <br /> the realignment of lot lines for twenty-two (22) parcels ranging in size between 0.14-acres to <br /> 6.32-acres. Four(4)of the smallest sized parcels(Parcels,l6, 18, 20,and 22) are not planned for <br /> residential development. The larger sixteen (16)remaining parcels are planned for residential <br /> home sites utilizing'septic systems for sewage disposal and ground water for domestic purposes. <br />
