Box 338 <br /> French Camp, CA 95231 <br /> Subject: Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Kwikee Foods Property <br /> 2081 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, CA 95204 <br /> Dear Ball : <br /> t Upgradient Environmental has monitored groundwater conditions at <br /> the Kwikee Foods property for the first quarter of 1995 . Enclosed <br /> is the report of our investigation. We have forwarded copies of the <br /> report to Mr. Michael- Infurna at EHD and to Ms . Elizabeth Thayer at <br /> the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> Invoices for this work and copies of invoices from our <br /> subcontractors have been sent under separate cover. You will need <br /> to send these, along with a copy of the Executive Summary from the <br /> report, t o ' the State Underground Tank Cleanup Fund for <br /> reimbursement. At the present time, you are more than 90 days in <br /> arrears for the work that was performed in December 1994 and <br /> January 1995 . An additional $ 1, 725 i8 due for the March and April <br /> work. Upgradient Environmental. Consultants cannot continue to <br /> finance this project. Full payment of the amount due will be <br /> necessary before we can perform additional work at this site. <br /> In brief, gasoline was detected in groundwater samples from all <br /> three wells , at higher concentrations than were found in January. <br /> As before, we anticipate that EHD` s response to our report will <br /> include a requirement for additional drilling to the east and <br /> northeast of the Kwikee property in order to find -the limits of <br /> contaminated groundwater. Should that be the case, we would <br /> recommend timing the additional drilling to coincide with the 2nd <br /> Quarter groundwater monitoring event, which is presently scheduled <br /> for May 1995 . <br /> Thank you for -the opportunity to provide our services .
