6.7 Discussion of Any Potential Problems Predicted and/Or the Need for An Engineered or Alternative Septic System: In this area, the soils are classified as fat clay. Due to'this classification, percolation rates and high ground water, an engineered septic system was recommended(See Appendix). 6.8 Discussion of Percolation Rates in Relation to the Type, Size and Location of future leach fields at the site: Based on the results of the percolation rates and the soils piofile, it is Dillon &Murphy's opinion that the subject proposed parcels are suited for an engineered sewage disposal system. This system should be properly designed and installed according to the current San Joaquin County criteria for standard septic systems. It is our opinion that the installation of any new proposed engineered septic system,; f properly I installed, should not adversely affect the quality of groundwater in the area. If this property is ever developed beyond the house under construction, an extensive Soils Suitability Report and Nitrate Loading Study are highly recommended. 7.0 CONCLUSION SECTION The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the time we excavated our test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test hole and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area. Our services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
