(ATC) has prepared this First Quarter 2005 Groundwater Monitoring and
Well Installation Report for the. Fayette Manufacturing Corporation- located at 7675 West
ff t Eleventh Street in Tracy, California. The'monitoring well installation activities were completed in
li accordance with ATC's Additional Subsurface Im,estigation Workplan, dated October 4, 2004,
and subsequently, approved by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
through correspondence dated October 18, 2004.
1.1 Site Description
i
'The project site is located at,7675 West Eleventh Street, between MacArthur Drive and Chrisman
Road, in Tracy, California. During removal of the USTs, petroleum :product was noted in the southern UST
excavation (Figure 2). Soil samples were collected from two feet below the bottom of the USTs,
and petroleum constituents and lead were detected in the soil samples:
On July 18, 1995, Smith Technology supervised the installation of three groundwater monitoring
wells, MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 (Figure _2). During. installation :of the monitoring wells, soil
samples were collected from the borings. On July 21, 1995, Smith Technology developed and
sampled monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2 and MW-3. Analytical results of the soil and
C) groundwater samples collected indicatedelevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were
present in the soil'and groundwater d'owngradient.of the-former gasoline.UST locations.
SAEnviromenta1117861-G1over\REP0RTS\2005QMR1 andwelGnstallreport.doc 1
