Weber Avenue, 3rd Floor _ <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> Subject: Second Quarter 200,1 Groundwater Monitoring Report for the Fayette <br /> Manufacturing Site, 7675 West Eleventh Street, Tracy, California, SITE CODE: <br /> 2233 <br /> Dear Ms. Lagorio <br /> As required by the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental.Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD), ATC Associates Inc. has prepared this letter,report summarizing the Second Quarter <br /> 2001 groundwater monitoring and site activities performed at the above referenced site (Figure <br /> 1). Sampling was performed to monitor the distribution of petroleum hydrocarbons in <br /> groundwater. Monitoring was performed to determine the groundwater flow direction and the <br /> hydraulic gradient in the uppermost aquifer. <br /> SITE LOCATION <br /> The project site is located at 7675-West Eleventh Street, between MacArthur Drive and Chrisman <br /> Road, in.Tracy, California. The site location is shown- on Figure 1. The vicinity of the site is <br /> primarily a commercial and industrial area. The property is owned by Dr. A.R. Glover. <br /> The site is located on generally'level terrain which'slopes,gently toward the Tom Paine Slough, a <br /> northwest trending extension of the delta located approximately 2.5 miles north of the site. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> On October 15, 1986, two 500-gallon gasoline underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed <br /> from the site. During removal of the USTs, petroleum product was noted in the southern UST <br /> excavation (Figure 2).
