Cummings and Associates (JPCA) is pleased to forward to <br /> you this File Closure Report for the real property located at <br /> 7777 W. Eleventh Street, Tracy CA 94576. APN 250-140-11. The <br /> Site Code is 506243 . <br /> 2. BACKGROUND <br /> The site was an empty field prior to World War II . The front <br /> portion of the real property is reported to have been used to <br /> store and work on automobiles commencing in 1952. This property <br /> has been reported to have been an automobile wrecking and/or junk <br /> yard from 1975 to 1990. The site, reportedly, was used from <br /> approximately 1989 by Capitol Auto Wrecking, an automobile <br /> wrecking yard and Town and Country Tire Service, a tire service <br /> facility. <br /> The site of approximately 4.9 acres currently has a wooden truss <br /> manufacturing facility on it and is located in the <br /> topographically flat, commercial/residential area of eastern <br /> Tracy. There are two buildings on site each being approximately <br /> 3,000 square feet in area. One building is a one story cinder <br /> block structure with a concrete floor and the other a wood framed <br /> building with corrugated steel siding on a concrete pad. Also on <br /> site was a water supply well with pump, which was destroyed on <br /> 1998, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. <br /> Figure 1 is a site location map. Figure 1 contains elevation <br /> contours, the nearest surface waters, buildings, streets, <br /> railroads, and transmission lines. Water, sewage and other <br /> utilities are reported to be buried in the streets. <br /> An Underground Storage Tank (UST) was removed from this site on <br /> July 19, 1996- The 350 gallon tank reportedly was an unleaded <br /> gasoline UST.
