I Western Stone 8181 West Eleventh Street Tracy CA 95376 APN 237-030-13 Site Code: 1393 Chronology i The site is located at the eastern border of the City of Tracy. Three underground storage tanks were previously, located on the property and were removed on August 23, 1988. I Tank 91 2000 gallon unleaded gas Tank #2 350 gallon leaded gas Tank#3 1000 gallon diesel While soil sample results did not indicate petroleum hydrocarbon contamination, groundwater contamination was detected(42 ppb benzene, 130 ppb xylene, and 110 ppm TPH-diesel). Four monitoring wells were installed during the course of the investigation and approximately 400 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated. Residual soil contamination exists beneath a building. PHS/EHD considers all approximate remedial actions to have been i completed and recommends that the site be closed. r 1988 08/23/88 Three underground storage tanks removed this date. 10/05/88 Prop 65 (88-0184) and UAR filed. 1989 05/11/89 Western Stone requests in correspondence for update and remedial action direction. 09/15/89 PHS/EHD places the site into the Local Oversight Program. 10/12/89 PHS/EHD issues a drilling permit. 10/23/89 Three monitoring wells installed. 1990 i 05/22/90 M W4 installed. 1992 07/27/92 Permit M-2575 issued Two soil borings were drilled to investigate soil contamination. 10/07/92 Excavation soil confirmation sampling was initiated. The excavation was discontinued after all evidence of soil contamination was removed or as a result of physical limitation due to the building's location. 1993 05/26/93 Issued drilling permit 493-0959. 06/25/93 Drilled two soil borings to investigate the extent of soil contamination. 1. 1995 Treatment of contaminated soil and excavated groundwater was completed.
