Three underground storage tanks were previously, <br /> located on the property and were removed on August 23, 1988. I <br /> Tank 91 2000 gallon unleaded gas <br /> Tank #2 350 gallon leaded gas <br /> Tank#3 1000 gallon diesel <br /> While soil sample results did not indicate petroleum hydrocarbon contamination, groundwater contamination was <br /> detected(42 ppb benzene, 130 ppb xylene, and 110 ppm TPH-diesel). Four monitoring wells were installed during <br /> the course of the investigation and approximately 400 cubic yards of contaminated soil was excavated. Residual soil <br /> contamination exists beneath a building. PHS/EHD considers all approximate remedial actions to have been i <br /> completed and recommends that the site be closed. r <br /> 1988 <br /> 08/23/88 Three underground storage tanks removed this date. <br /> 10/05/88 Prop 65 (88-0184) and UAR filed. <br /> 1989 <br /> 05/11/89 Western Stone requests in correspondence for update and remedial action direction. <br /> 09/15/89 PHS/EHD places the site into the Local Oversight Program. <br /> 10/12/89 PHS/EHD issues a drilling permit. <br /> 10/23/89 Three monitoring wells installed. <br /> 1990 <br /> i <br /> 05/22/90 M W4 installed. <br /> 1992 <br /> 07/27/92 Permit M-2575 issued <br /> Two soil borings were drilled to investigate soil contamination. <br /> 10/07/92 Excavation soil confirmation sampling was initiated. The excavation was discontinued after all <br /> evidence of soil contamination was removed or as a result of physical limitation due to the <br /> building's location. <br /> 1993 <br /> 05/26/93 Issued drilling permit 493-0959. <br /> 06/25/93 Drilled two soil borings to investigate the extent of soil contamination. <br /> 1. <br /> 1995 <br /> Treatment of contaminated soil and excavated groundwater was completed.
