Second Quarter 1993 Monitoring Report
Western Stone Products,Tracy,CA
Project No.W0195.00
Page 2
detectable BTEX in the sample, and the analytical history of this project, RESNA believes the
analytical result is valid. If desired by SJCEHD, however, an additional sample can be collected
for analysis. Table 2 summarizes analytical results. Attachment 2 contains laboratory data
sheets and chain-of-custody documentation.
Other activities during the quarter included on-site disposal of remediated groundwater that had
been stored on-site in a Baker Tank. Approximately 20,600 gallons of water was pumped from
an excavation pit in October 1992 and bioremediated. After receiving approval from the
California Regional Water Quality Control Board (CRWQCB) the water was utilized in concrete
batching operations and for dust control purposes.
RESNA is negotiating the disposal of the soils stockpiled on site with CRWQCB. Upon
approval of the movement of the soils to Western Stone's Products Hughson Plant for anticipated
use as road base, RESNA will contact SJCEHD.
A workplan for soil borings installation for further site investigation is currently in preparation.
The investigation will commence upon workplan approval.
- r, If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact me at (209) 838-3507.
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries, Inc.
Marcie R.
