(GTI) and has the following
comments.
The report documents a routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event
that was performed at this site on August 12, 2004. Analytical results reported no
contamination to any of the sites' six groundwater monitoring wells. In the reportGTI
recommends reducing the analysis for fuel oxygenates including methyl tertiary butyl
ether by EPA Method 8260B to one event per year. SJCIEHD agrees with this
recommendation, but suggests the yearly event be conducted during the last quarter of
the year. Analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons as gas, benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene and xylenes by EPA Method 8020 will continue on a quarterly basis.
If you have any questions or comments please call Lori Duncan at(209)468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C.
