Thirteen monitoring events have been completed to
date since the groundwater investigation was initiated in April 2000. All of the monitoring
wells were non-detect for BTEX, TPH-G and the oxygenate compounds. The deep well
MW-101 was non-detect for the eighth consecutive event.
The. groundwater gradient for March 6, 2003, is 0.0012 ft/ft flowing N82°W. This is
Lconsistent with past events (see Figure 2). Depth to groundwater at the site was slightly less
then 63-feet below ground surface (bgs).
i
C; A vertical groundwater gradient calculation was made for the March 2003 groundwater-
monitoring event. The vertical gradient was found to be in an upward direction with a slope
that-is less than the water table horizontal gradient.
The internal combustion engine (LC.) was set in operation on February 5, 2002. The IC ran
r until February 27, 2002 when it was shutdown and removed from the site because it was not
L properly controlling emissions. .The IC was completely rebuilt and returned to the site on
April 22, 2002 and restarted. The IC operated until late May when it was again removed
i
 C
