Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. A soil suitability study shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. The study must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to the issuance of building permit(s). (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2 (d)). A review fee of$244 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$122 per percolation hole is required. B. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/ Nitrate Loading Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- 1110.3 & 9-1110.4). C. Construction of an individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115,3).
