De Vries Road, Lodi <br /> The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified as pertinent to <br /> this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. Submit three (3) sets of building plans for review and approval to the Environmental Health Department <br /> prior to issuance of building permits. Plans shall include the design of the entire dairy facility (milking <br /> barn, corrals, free stall housing, shelter sheds, dry cow facilities, calf barns, and waste water ponds); as <br /> part of the construction plans. California Food and Agricultural Code, Division 15, Chapter 5, Article 2, <br /> Section 33481-33487. <br /> A manure management plan shall be submitted for approval to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The number of animals per acre shall be consistent with appropriate waste management practices. A <br /> $650 plan check fee is required at the time of submittal. <br /> B. Contact the California Department of Food and Agriculture for information regarding your application for <br /> a goat milk creamery. All liquid and solid dairy wastes and vector problems associated with this dairy operation are to be <br /> managed so as not to cause a nuisance or a health problem. Any complaints that are verified against this <br /> site will be charged by the Environmental Health Department hourly rate of($130.00) for response and <br /> correction as per Board of Supervisors Resolution B-92-1591. <br /> D. Submit to the Environmental Health Department revised site plans showing the maximum number of <br /> persons the sewage disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the <br /> leach field area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area. <br /> This leach field area must be used for that specific purpose only, and it cannot contain any underground <br /> utility lines (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.4(c)(5)). <br /> In addition, the revised site plan shall incorporate the 100% designed sewage disposal replacement <br /> area. <br />
