Therefore, the project proponent should <br /> be notified that a Reclamation Board permit is required prior to <br /> start of any work, including excavation and construction <br /> activities, within the Mokelumne River Designated Floodway, as <br /> required by Section 8710 of the California Water Code. <br /> The project proponent should also be notified that the Board <br /> does not permit structures for human habitation within designated <br /> floodways . The Board also does not generally permit construction <br /> of structures within 30 feet landward from the top of the river <br /> banks or any work within the floodway during the flood season <br /> from November 1 to April 15 . <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to comment .
