I 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of an 80 acre parcel located at 30 S. DraisRoad, Linden, CA. The subject parcel number is 183-230-13. The project is in an agricultural community, and the existing parcel is zoned AG-40. 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to split an 80 acre parcel into two 40 acre parcels. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This report will investigate the property for visual or historical environment contamination based on field observation, interviews with the owner, and county records. (This SSCR includes no chemical analysis). 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map, and APN page). 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: 2.1 Discussion of Past, .Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owners, the John Dondero III Family Trust and the Cahill Revocable Trust. The owners were interviewed on April 20, 2007. The John Dondero III Family Trust, and the Cahill Revocable Trust have owned the subject parcel since April 24, 2007. Before that, Sam and Maria Freitas had owned the property for the past S years. It was farmed by John Dondero. The land use has not changed under their ownership. Presently the property includes an orchard. The surrounding properties to the north, south, and east are used for agricultural purposes. At this time there is not a house under construction. 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION: 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on June 5, 2007 (see appendix for results). An onsite survey performed on May 23, 2007 by Brook Handel of Dillon & Murphy. The owner was interviewed on April 20, 2007, by Joe Murphy of Dillon & Murphy. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's underground storage tank site mitigation database list did not yield any findings on the subject parcel (see appendix). A search for U.S.T./L.U.S.T sites was done on the subject parcel and yielded no findings.
