I <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of an 80 acre parcel located at <br /> 30 S. DraisRoad, Linden, CA. The subject parcel number is 183-230-13. The project is in <br /> an agricultural community, and the existing parcel is zoned AG-40. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to split an 80 acre parcel into <br /> two 40 acre parcels. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This <br /> report will investigate the property for visual or historical environment contamination based on <br /> field observation, interviews with the owner, and county records. (This SSCR includes no <br /> chemical analysis). <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map, and APN <br /> page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of Past, .Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of <br /> information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owners, the John Dondero <br /> III Family Trust and the Cahill Revocable Trust. The owners were interviewed on April 20, <br /> 2007. The John Dondero III Family Trust, and the Cahill Revocable Trust have owned the <br /> subject parcel since April 24, 2007. Before that, Sam and Maria Freitas had owned the <br /> property for the past S years. It was farmed by John Dondero. The land use has not changed <br /> under their ownership. <br /> Presently the property includes an orchard. The surrounding properties to the north, south, <br /> and east are used for agricultural purposes. <br /> At this time there is not a house under construction. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records <br /> researched at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on June 5, 2007 (see <br /> appendix for results). An onsite survey performed on May 23, 2007 by Brook Handel of <br /> Dillon & Murphy. The owner was interviewed on April 20, 2007, by Joe Murphy of Dillon & <br /> Murphy. San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's underground storage tank <br /> site mitigation database list did not yield any findings on the subject parcel (see appendix). A <br /> search for U.S.T./L.U.S.T sites was done on the subject parcel and yielded no findings. <br /> Research was performed on the subject site as required by County regulations. <br /> 1 <br /> cA07431Surface and Subsurface June, 2007 <br />
