"Soil Suitability Study";Parcel 4=40.019 ACRES,About 0.33 Miles South of the Intersection of Durham <br /> Ferry,Kasson Roads and Airport Way With Access Off Of Durham Ferry Road <br /> APN:255-34-07 <br /> All six(6)of the permits were for leach field installations with leach lines varying in <br /> number from one(1)to four(4)and from sixty(60) feet to one hundred(100) feet in <br /> length. One(1)of the six(6)permits reviewed contained an initial inspection note that <br /> there might be a possible future failure of the system. Another permit of the <br /> six (6)indicated that the system was indeed replaced six(6)years and five(5)months <br /> later. The permits reviewed were dated from November 17, 1972 to January 29, 1991. <br /> PERCOLATION TEST: Only one (1)parcel is covered in this report and was the only <br /> one requested and contracted to be reported on. The parcel covered and reported on is <br /> Parcel 4 and is shown on the attached"Parcel Map". <br /> On Friday, January 18, 2002, a Percolation Test Hole was excavated to a depth of <br /> about three(3) feet and a Soil Profile Test Hole was excavated to a maximum depth of <br /> ten(10) feet and three(3) inches as noted on the attached"Field Percolation Data Sheet". <br /> The location of these test holes are depicted on the attached"Parcel Map". The <br /> Percolation Test Hole was presoaked on Tuesday,January 22, 2002 and the percolation <br /> readings were made and the percolation rate determined on Wednesday,January 23, <br /> 2002, <br /> TEST RESULTS: The result of the percolation test on Parcel 4 is as follows: <br /> Parcel No. Test Hole No,Percolation Rate(Min/Inch) Minimum Usable <br /> Shallow Test Y Deep max)Area(Square Feet) <br /> 4 PH 6.32 6,000 <br /> WELL WATER ANALYSIS: There is a well on the subject property and the property <br /> owner has the responsibility for arranging for any well water testing and analysis needed. <br /> No well water testing and analysis is made an integral part of this report. The results of <br /> any well water testing and analysis will be supplied separate and apart from this report. <br /> ENGINEER'S STATEMENT: Septic systems of the types proposed can be installed <br /> and their construction is not expected to impact groundwater or cause other hazards. <br /> Walter E.
