Careful selection of the site for the septic
` system is recommended. Because a lake or slough runs along a property line, the closest distance
the leach line can be to the water body is 200 feet.
A permit shall be obtained from the Environmental Health Department prior to construction of a
septic system (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3).
If you have any questions, please contact Steven Shih, Registered Environmental Health
Specialist, of my staff at (209) 468-9850.
Donna Heran, Director
Environmental Health Department
Mike uggins, Supervising R.E.H.S., R.D.I.
Environmental Health Department
MH: cf
cc: Walter Curtis
SU-92-7, Kasson and Durham Ferry Roads
sss ttr.Rev.9-0E
