Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report*******APN: FO-220-9*** *Parcel Nos. 1,2,&3
Also the visual above ground property search did not reveal any vent pipes,
excavated areas or other evidences of below ground contaminant sources. However, no
below ground excavations were made as a part of the property search.
Possible Septic Contamination: Existing San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department records of septic system permits in the immediate area of the subject
property were reviewed. Only two(2)septic permits were found to review on Dutra
Lane. Both permits involved installing two (2) or three (3) lines varying in length from
forty(40)to sixty(60)feet long with pits at their ends varying from thirty-six(36)to
forty-eight(48) inches in diameter and twenty-five(25)feet deep.
One permit listed the soil as Clay and sand and the other permit did not list any
soil classification.
No permits were noted for repairing any of the facilities subsequent to their
installation. From the historical septic records there is no indication of septic
contamination problems.
Possible Nitrate Pollution: The small number of cattle seen grazing on the subject
property does not appear to be sufficient to create any undue nitrate concentrations
because of an overpopulation of animals.
Possible Chemical Use Contamination In Cro Production: The subject property's
only apparent use has been as pasture growing natural grasses and shrubs; so no
appendixes listing pesticides and herbicides used in managing and controlling insects and
mites, nematodes and weeds in the production of agricultural products is incorporated or
included as a part of this report.
San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioners Report: The San Joaquin County
Agricultural Commissioner's Office was requested to access their files and report on any
recorded permit applications and product use applications by the Dutra family over the
last five (5)years in Section 25, Township 1 South,Range 9 East,Mount Diablo Base
and Meridian.
The San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office report contained no
recorded operator identification number, permits or use reports for the years from 1997
through 2002. There is no indication that any detrimental chemicals have been applied to
the subject property in its agricultural use.
,►N "*All eight(8)of the chemical products and the pests they would control on the
subject property as follows: vih vre .
Groundwater Elevation: The San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation Map entitled"Lines of Equal Depth To Water Wells, dated Spring 1999,
shows the groundwater table to be at least sixty feet below the ground surface.
Top,1. r}ntra Tr ------40400 i7ntrn T mm --- Onirdnlp-----C'nlifnrnlA 0i'AF1 I
