The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) <br /> and nitrates with the results submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to <br /> recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State-approved <br /> laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> D. The well on the remainder parcel must be repaired under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.4(e)) as follows: <br /> a. Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain an <br /> air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The discharge <br /> pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the pipe and <br /> opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County must be <br /> installed. <br /> E. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability Study findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9- <br /> 1110.4). <br /> F. Construction of an individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). <br />
