RT. 99 FTG. RD._(APN_092-040-06)_UPOO-13
The City of Stockton Public Works Department has reviewed the subject pre-application as it relates
to the Eight Mile Road Specific Plan adopted by the Stockton City Council, and the Eight Mile Road
Special.Purpose Plan adopted by the San Joaquin Board of Supervisors. Based on the following
criteria, the City of Stockton Public Works Department cannot support the request for any additional
access off Eight Mile Road serving the subject site:
1. The Access Plan contained within the Eight Mile Road Specific Road Plan (Special Purpose
Plan), which was adopted by the San Joaquin Board of Supervisors on October 26, 1993,
Ordinance No. 3755, clearly defines the goal of developing a roadway which would allow for
the safe and efficient linkage of 1-5 and SR 99 by insuring a limited number of access points
to the roadway. Any future access to this site shall be taken off future Holman Road.
2. The parking lot layout shall conform to City of Stockton Parking Area Standards.
We appreciate the opportunity to comment on this application.
JAMES B.
