Elliott Road PERMIT ISERVICES
Lockeford, California 95237
SUBJECT: MS-92-95
Dear Dr. Laub:
I appreciate having had the opportunity to meet with you last
Friday and discuss your application for a Minor Subdivision. As
we discussed there was nothing in the file that indicated why
your application was processed as a Minor Subdivision instead of
a Lot Line Adjustment. The best I can recall is at the time your
application was processed there were probably a couple of reasons
for the decision. First the property is in the Williamson Act
and that the five acre parcel being created is less than the ten
acres that is required at this time; and, secondly, the
Department policy at that time was that major reconfigurations of
parcels were processed as Minor Subdivisions and not Lot Line
Adjustments. In accordance with the code that is in effect your
application today could be processed as a Lot Line Adjustment.
As we further discussed, the most expeditious thing at this point
is to proceed with the Minor Subdivision Application that has
already been processed.
As a result of our meeting, we came to the following
understanding:
• Parcel 1 will be reconfigured in area to match the area
of Assessor's Parcel Number 051-210-27 . This is
consistent with a memo to the file that I had written
and dated August 6, 1992 , and is also consistent with a
proposal that I had discussed with your engineer about
the same time.
• With the reconfiguration of Parcel 1 a portion of the
drainage swale that is shown will probably wind up
being on Parcel 2 . This drainage swale is reconfigured
so as to be totally on Parcel 1. The sizing of this
drainage swale will be supported by calculations
submitted by your engineer.
