F 64
007-220--15 Greg Rausser, 26860 Horth Elliott Road
Original septic system is 13 years old
No problems with leach area
Depth to ground water is unknown
007-240-36 Jack Partridge, 12385 East Jahant Road
Septic system is 60 years old
No problems
Depth to ground water is 140 feet
007-250-04 Lae Wagaman, 25221 North Pearl
Septic system is 27 years old and has
been pumped twice
One leach line has been added.
Depth to ground water is 170 to 200 feet
GROUND WATER
From the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District Study we find that the ground
water depth is approximately 130 feat and that the
gradient falls northerly approximately 10 feet per
mile. Soo Exhibits 2 and 3.
FGL Environmental tested the water on a neighbor' s
property for DBCPs and nitrates . Mater was not
available at the site. The results are listed in
Exhibits 5 and 6.
SOILS AND PERCOLATION TEST
Per the "Soils of San Joaquin County" , as published by
the University of California, the soil is San Joaquin
Loam.
On August 20, 1993, we ran percolation tests on Paroels
1 and 2 . It was found that the peroolation rates were
27 and 48/min/inoh respectively. See Exhibit 4.
In all oases the test holes were 6" diameter by 3 feet
deep. The tests were run under permit and inspection
by the San Joaquin County health Department.
CONCLUSION
The area is suitable for septic systems. It is
recommended that 12 ,000 S.F. be reserved on Parcels 1
and 2 .
Based upon the percolation test and interviews, it is
my professional opinion that a septic system will not
adversely effect the first Nater aquifer.
