E07101A <br /> July 3, 2007 <br /> i <br /> 3.1.6 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> F1The California Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources (DOGGR) well map W5-39 <br /> was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No <br /> 1 wells are depicted within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 3.1.7 Site Reconnaissance <br /> F1A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on June 28, 2007. Photographs <br /> of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment <br /> checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be pasture land with some livestock. A waste water pond <br /> was observed at the north west corner of the property. Another storage basin was located just <br /> Psouth of the waste water pond but it appeared largely empty. A single story house with typical <br /> residential landscaping was located on the northern half of the property along Escalon Bellota <br /> Road. A two-story residence was located on the southern half of the property along Edwards <br /> F1Road. An irrigation channel was observed along the eastern border of the property. A shop <br /> building, smaller garage and farm equipment storage yard were located at the center portion of <br /> the property. Two approximately 5,000 gallon above ground storage tanks (ASTs) containing <br /> F1fuel were observed north of the shop building. Both ASTs were located on concrete slabs within <br /> secondary containment. A storage shed also on a concrete slab was adjacent to the ASTs <br /> Tanks and 55 gallon drums were observed in the shed. Several drums and 5 gallon buckets <br /> I were observed on the east side of the shed. The storage yard contained several trucks and <br /> tractors. Surface staining was evident in several areas around the storage yard most noticeably <br /> under the elevated truck located on the east side of the yard and under the portable fuel tanks <br /> located at the south east corner of the yard. One of the portable fuel tanks was leaking liquid <br /> at the back end of the trailer at the time of the site visit (see Appendix B, Figures 5-10). <br /> No pole-mounted transformers were observed on the property. <br /> Surrounding properties were surveyed at the time of the site reconnaissance. To the north of <br /> the subject property was pasture land and a residence. To the south was Edwards Road and <br /> ` agricultural land. To the east was pasture land and residences.
