Any construction activity that results in the disturbance of at least one(1) acre of soil shall require a State <br /> N.PDES construction permit. Dischargers whose projects disturb 1 or more acres of soil or whose projects <br /> disturb less than 1 acre of soil and is not part of a larger common plan of development, are required to <br /> obtain coverage under the current General Permit for Discharges of Storm Water Associated with <br /> Construction Activity (www.swreb.ca.gov/stonnwtr/gen_colist.htmI#const_permit). Construction activity <br /> subject to this permit includes clearing, grading and disturbances to the ground such as stockpiling, or <br /> excavation, but does not include regular maintenance activities performed to restore the original line, <br /> grade, or capacity of the facility. <br /> (ii) All future building permits for projects located within a Special Flood Hazard Area at the time of permit <br /> issuance shall meet the San Joaquin County flood hazard reduction requirements (Title 9, Chapter 9-1605) <br /> and all requirements of the State of California(CCR Title 23)that are in force at the time of permit <br /> issuance.
