The cancellation is for land on which a Notice of Nonrenewal has been
served pursuant to Section 51245 of the Government Code.
The property has a Notice of Nonrenewal filed June 15, 2007.
2. The cancellation is not likely to result in the removal of adjacent lands from
agricultural use.
The adjacent property has been planted with olives within the last year. It is
not likely they will be removed if the•Cancellation is approved.
3 . .. The cancellation is for an alternative use which is consistent, with.the
applicable provisions of the County General Plan.
The alternative use is residential which is allowed by the current County
General Plan.
4. .The cancellation will not result'is discontiguous patterns of urban
development.
The cancellation will not encourage urban development. The immediate
vicinity is developed as agricultural land and there is no urban development
in the area.
5. There is no proximate noncontracted land which is both available and
suitable for the use to which it is proposed the contracted land be put, or
development of the contracted land would provide more contiguous patterns
of urban development than development of proximate noncontracted land.
This property is unique to the proposed use. The proposed use is actually an
existing residence in the fact that the house and appurtenances are existing.
There is no need for proximate noncontracted land since the proposed use is
already developed.
c:1071041Wi1liamson Act Cancellation 1 10607
