The property is located west of State Route <br /> 88 and south of Harney Lane, near Lodi, San Joaquin County, California. <br /> The Corps of Engineers regulates the discharge of dredged or fill material into waters of <br /> the United States under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. Waters of the United States <br /> include, but are not limited to, rivers, perennial-or intermittent streams, lakes, ponds, <br /> wetlands, vernal pools, marshes, wet meadows," and seeps. The subject property contains at <br /> least two such waters, Bear Creek and Pixley Slough. Prior to any development on the <br /> property, the proponent should have a delineation of waters of the United States, including <br /> wetlands, conducted by a qualified individual.
