EMGEO
INCORPORATED
1.1.2 Other Information
We reviewed regulatory databases and made visual observations during our site visit. Based
on these data we present information on features that were either contained in the databases
or observed on the Property. These features were not considered to be RECs. We briefly
discuss each feature to allow for a summary of conditions within and neighboring the
Property.
1. We observed a concrete pad approximately eight feet wide and fourteen feet long beneath
a tree located along the western boundary of the Property. The pad had been covered by
soil and dry grass. Our efforts to expose the concrete pad revealed no visible indications
of piping or other objects protruding from the top or sides of the concrete. We found no
visible indications of an REC associated with the concrete pad. The pad appears to be
Fil consistent with astructure that is mapped in the Lockeford quadrangle maps. If future
development of the Property results in demolition of the pad and soil staining or other
1 evidence of chemical handling_or disposal are discovered, we recommend that ENGEO
be contacted so that further assessment may be completed.
. f
W 2. There are two agricultural water supply wells located approximately 100 feet south of the
k1' concrete pad, on the west edge of the Property. The wells are powered by electricity
F .•
from the pole-mounted transformers. No staining was observed on or near the wells.
"~ The wells should be either upgraded for future use or abandoned under permit from San
Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health. Due to the fact that there is a
known contaminated site located approximately 1 mile from the Property, we also
J
recommend that the_groundwater produced from the wells be tested to confirm its
suitability as a source of drinking water.
j 6917.1.001.01
October 25, 2005
3
