We called the Planning <br /> 'R Division and were instructed to use the County Web Page to search for zoning and permit <br /> records using address and parcel number. The database holds permits from 1992 to present. <br /> To search for files dated earlier than 1992, an appointment must be made to go to the <br /> Planning Division and search through the permit books. We were not able to locate any <br /> permit records for the Property from the website. We were able to determine that the <br /> f Property is zoned as R/L, or Low Density Residential. <br /> /We interviewed Hazel Gallego at the Agricultural Commissioner's Office. We requested <br /> IG copies of files regarding historical agricultural uses and pesticide reports for the Property. <br /> The Agricultural Commissioner's Office holds files for 2000 to 2005 in their restricted <br /> I <br /> permits database. Ms. Galle o did a quick search of the database and found no files listed for <br /> the Pro erty for 2005. She did find a record far a ermit to Round Valle <br /> We requested that Ms. Gallego conduct a further search of the older records that are not in <br /> the database. Ms. Gallego indicated that these files are preserved from 1940 to 2004. <br /> FUHowever, she indicated that the research could take two to three weeks to complete. We did <br /> qL not receive the results of the search in time for the completion of this report. <br /> Hazel Gallego referred us to Barbara Huckstead, who is a former District Inspector in the <br /> 51 Lodi Office. Ms. Huckstead has knowledge of pesticide use and types of crops grown in the <br /> Lockeford area. She reviewed the map of the Property and informed us that the Property was <br /> indeed occupied by vineyards. Ms. Huckstead listed several types of herbicides that may <br /> have been used on the Property. These included paraquat (Gramoxone), Round Up, <br /> Simazinc, Sulfur, and Nemacur. Nemacur is not used in more recent years do to <br /> development of more resistant plants.
