F <br /> F <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The purpose of this project is to divide a 182 acre parcel into four parcels. One parcel <br /> will be a 62 acre parcel, and three 40 acre parcels. In accordance with the San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, this Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report <br /> (SSCR) is being submitted for application with the tentative map. This report will <br /> investigate the property for visual or historical environmental contamination based on <br /> field observation and testimony from the owner. No chemical analysis is proposed as <br /> F, part of this report. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project consists of one parcel located at 14454 N. State Route 88, Lodi. The <br /> project is in a farming area and is surrounded by agricultural and rural residential land. <br /> It is zoned AG 40. The site has one mobile home and three recreational trailers. It is <br /> currently a vineyard. The vineyard is located on the east and west sides of Bear Creek. <br /> 4 <br /> See the Tentative Map included in the Appendix. <br /> F PROJECT HISTORY <br /> The primary source of information on the historical use of the property is testimony <br /> from the owner and County records. The rren wner has faEmed property for <br /> �tw There is an existing vineyard located on the property. This property and <br /> the adjacent properties have been used in the same manner since the current owner has r� <br /> owned the property. <br /> rA review of County records (San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's Office <br /> and the San Joaquin County Environmental Health's Contaminated Site List) did noeo*F <br /> yield any contamination concerns. I have included a complete accounting of chemicals <br /> F, from the Agricultural Commissioner's office. The property owner, Jose Viramontes also <br /> stated when interviewed in September 19, 2003 that there have been no groundwater <br /> concerns during his ownership. <br /> There is no record of underground fuel tank storage and the property owner is not <br /> Faware of any such tank. There are two portable above ground fuel tanks on the <br /> property. It does not have a containment structure. It is used for gasoline and it can <br /> be relocated to other sites. <br /> F FIELD <br /> INVESTIGATION <br /> The following information was obtained during a field investigation in September 19, <br /> 2003 of the site as well as interviewing the property owner at that time.
