Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical residues. as well as potential point sources. such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas_ The report shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department at time of submittal of a tentative.trap (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-905.12). A review fee of$190.00 shall be paid at the time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. B. A soil suitability study shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage_ The study must be approved by the Environmental Health Department prior to the recordation of Parcel Map. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2 (d)). A review fee of$190.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval_ A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$95.00 per percolation hole is required. C. Construction of an individual sewage disposal systeni(s)under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Depai-Iment is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability findings (San Joaquin County Development Title. Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). D. Construction of an individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3).
