The well must be repaired under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division <br /> (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.4(c)) as follows: <br /> • Agricultural discharge pipes utilizing an air gap for back-flow prevention shall maintain <br /> an air gap equal to the size of the discharge pipe, but not less than 6 inches. The <br /> discharge pipe shall also have two 1/4 inch slits extending 6 inches from the bottom of the <br /> pipe and opposite each other or a back-flow device approved by San Joaquin County <br /> must be installed. <br /> B.
