The rates presented from the references provide general guidance but do not always reflect a match in usage. Careful examination, professional judgment, and experience are necessary to select a reasonable flow rate estimate. The small hotels were contacted for verification of annual occupancy during the time period of the collected water records. The hotels reported an average of 25 percent occupancy; therefore the average number for the proposed hotel on site has been modified to reflect these circumstances.
