August 13, 2005 DRAFT
Ms. Lisa
Environmental Health Dept.
San Joaquin County
304 E. Weber Avenue 3" Fir.
Stockton, CA 95202-2708
RE: Oakridge at Clements Soil Suitability Study and
Nitrate Loading Study
Dear Lisa,
As a follow-up to our meeting on August 11, 2005, at your office with Mike Huggins, Jeff
Morlan, Don Chesney and myself, I would like to acknowledge certain things, which will
allow EHD to complete the review of the above studies and authorize our development to
proceed.
i
Please accept this letter as my authorization for EHD to cross-reference and combine, as
necessary, data and results from the following studies:
1. Soil Suitability Study by Jeff Morlan
2. Nitrate Loading Study by Don Chesney
{ 3. Onsite Wastewater System Design-June 2005 by Jeff Morlan
I have received permission for each engineer to authorize the combined use of the reports. In
point of fact, the studies were developed in concert; however, it appears that the write-up did
not reflect such.
Additionally I will attempt to include in the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions of the
development, a requirement for each parcel owner to annually exercise crossover mechanise
that alternate the use of the required dual-leach field systems. If this is not possible, then we y,
will make Disclosures to the Buyers and have them acknowledge same before closing.
I trust that this will help expedite the final review and approval of these required studies.
Thank you for you cooperation in this matter.
Kindest Regards t Y
Clements Oakridge Estates, LLC
By: Sandhill Development Co., Managing Member
By: Wayne Craig, President
