The project is located on � <br /> the southwest corner of Athearn Street and State Route (SR)88, in Clements_ <br /> Our Traffic Operations Unit has the following comments_ <br /> 1. The existing public road connections at Athearn Street and Anderson, Street to SR 88 4 <br /> should be brought up to current Caltrans standards per Secton405.7-Public Road <br /> Intersections and Figure 405,7,CaltransHighway Design Manual, Fifth Edition to <br /> ensure adequate sight distance and appropriate treatment for right turn on and off the � <br /> Highway. <br /> 2. An encroachment Permit will be required to perform the work indicated in items 1. ? <br /> Encroachment permit is required for this project. The use of California State Highways for <br /> other than normal transportation purposes may require written authorization from Caltrans in i <br /> the form of an encroaclnner>t pennit. The application must include the environmental <br /> document prepared for the project that addresses Caltrans right-of-way.
