A sewage disposal area is indicated by the septic tank soil suitability study and/or percolation <br /> tests must be shown for each parcel on the final subdivisions improvement plans (San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2). <br /> E. Due to elevation and topographical conditions, engineer-designed septic systems are to be <br /> installed under permit and inspection with the Environmental Health Department with the <br /> current fee of$450.00 (San Joaquin County Development Title, Sections 9-1110.3 and 9- <br /> 1110.4). <br /> F. Destroy the abandoned pit well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department prior to final map approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9- <br /> 1115.5(e)). <br /> G. The applicant shall provide written confirmation from the water providers that improvements <br /> have been constructed or financial arrangements have been made for any improvements <br /> required by the agency and that the agency has or«ill have the capacity to serve the proposed <br /> development. Said written confirmation shall be submitted prior to the issuance of a building <br /> permit (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2). <br /> OR <br /> A public water system shall be constructed to the requirements of the Environmental Health <br /> Department and the Department of Public Works. The water system shall be shown on the <br /> Improvement Plan (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2). <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department recommends that the applicant consider <br /> moving the well location because the design allows drainage and pollutants to flow <br /> past the well location. A source water assessment may be required prior to <br /> construction in accordance with the California Health and Safety Code. <br /> H. Connection to an approved public water supply system is required (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1120.2). <br /> A Test Well will be required to meet the following: <br /> 1. Water quality tested to meet requirements of Title 22, CCR(Safe Drinking Water Act) <br /> 2. Water quantity tested to show an adequate source. <br /> 3. Results approved by the Environmental Health Department and County Public Works <br /> prior to final approval of improvement plans. <br /> I. The project shall be served by a public water system conforming to the requirements of San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and the Department of Public Works. <br /> The system shall provide adequate domestic and fire water supply in conformance to the <br /> requirements of the County fire Warden and the local fire District. A test well sho�sing that <br /> he production well will meet all applicable standards is required prior to the approval of the <br /> improvements Plans or any work within the site. <br />
