I took this as a further support
that it is minor issue to change the filter bed shape from square to a rectangle. I am
hoping that SJ County EHD also views this as a minor and acceptable change. I am
significantly over budget and past deadline. The original designer Don Chesney has
completed his scope and is unavailable to me for further consultation or review. I am
hoping on avoiding further engineering and design expense as well as be able to
proceed with installation of the concrete and leach field as winter weather permits.
I appreciate the extra time that you are spending to review my request to deviate from
the previously approved plan. When the original septic design was done our
landscape/pathtfence plans were preliminary and the septic system was designed
based on total square footage allocated for septic.
