Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
RE: UP-97-04
6061 E. State Route 88, Stockton
I
Dear Ms. Oz:
We would like to confirm our discussion yesterday at the Development Committee
meeting regarding our project and the usage it will be involved in. Our planned and
common function of Kingdom Halls for Jehovah's Witnesses is a place to assemble for
worship meetings during the week day evenings between 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm, and
Sundays throughout the morning and afternoon. We are anticipating that six different
congregations of approximately 100-150 members each, will assemble for one weekday
evening for two hours and one two hour session on Sunday. These weekday evenings and
Sunday could have two groups meeting at the same time as the design is a "double"
Kingdom Hall, amounting to approximately 300 persons present during a two hour period
{ then departing.
It is our understanding that this type of usage would not require the water well to be ay e
"public water system" under the provisions of Title 22, CCR. We would appreciate'your
confirmation of this by letter or modification of the June 20, 1997 requirement letter.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sin rely,
' T.
