L %.s •.i
LSeptember 21,2005
NOA Project Number: E05104A
LThough the well water sample was taken from a neighbors water well,we would recommend the
well not be use for drinking water since the water quality test indicates levels of Nitrate above the
L MCL for drinking water. The owner should inform the neighbor of the elevated level of nitrates in
well water. Potential repair options for the well should be discussed with the EHD. (We!/L&47 5aAl-)
` 5.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
L //
1 Z
Our office concludes that the Site is suitable for development with the use of modified standard Y
se tic systems as discussed in Section 4.2.Methods of Mitigation. Though the standard septic
systems are "improved" to enhance denitrification,it is difficult to quantify the denitrification
capacity of these systems. We would estimate on the order of a 5 to 10 percent increase in
L denitrification when compared to standard systems. All septic system construction should follow
the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater Disposal Standards where applicable.
5.1 Signatures
LThe signatures of the environmental professionals involved in the preparation of this report can be 13
Lfound on the cover sheet at the front of this package.
5.2 Attachments
LAll required attachments and appendices can be found at the rear of this package.
6.0 LIMITATIONS
LOur professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in
L accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
